We are very pleased to announce that Lucile Plumet, a PhD student co-supervised by Greenphage, obtained her PhD on June 21.

Her thesis, entitled “La phagothérapie contre les staphylocoques responsables des infections du pied diabétique”, focused on the use of bacteriophages as an innovative and complementary alternative to antibiotics for combating Staphylococcus aureus infections in diabetic patients. This research, conducted in collaboration within the VBIC laboratory (Team BLiS, INSERM U1047, University of Montpellier), highlights the potential of phage therapy to improve the management of diabetic foot infections – a major public health challenge.

The Greenphage team congratulates Lucile for her hard work and excellent research. Her efforts open the door to new progress in phage therapy.

Congratulations, Doctor! 😉
